Collaboration formed at Haugesund simulator centre

The Norwegian Maritime Directorate and the Norwegian Coastal Administration have approved the new national test area for autonomous shipping. The test area was officially opened by Minister of Energy Tina Bru during the Energy Kingdom Conference in Haugesund. Earlier in the day, the 19 partners behind the establishment signed the agreement at the maritime simulator centre of the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL), Haugesund campus.
